Portugal's CTT Due To Begin Operating In Mozambique - February 5, 2010
[Macauhub.]Portuguese postal company CTT-Correios de Portugal is due to start operating in mozambique before the end of the first half of this year, the chairman of the group, Estanislau Costa said.

Costa said that “adaptation work for the shops we are going to open in Mozambique,” was underway as well as “choosing the teams that will prepare the information systems for the company’s launch.” the company was officially set up in November of last year.

“We signed the contract in november last for the correio de moçambique company, which is 50 percent owned by us and 50 percent by the Mozambican national postal company,” said Costa on the sidelines of the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Portuguese business association, AEP.

CTT plans to invest some 2 million euros in its internationalisation to the two portuguese-speaking countries.
